Observant readers of this website might have noticed a new affiliate, Sierra Trading Post. Though they aren't a photo retailer, I've been buying outdoor gear from them for about 15 years. When I'm out in the field doing photography (particularly nature work), I'm typically wearing gear I got from Sierra! I have waterproof hiking boots, a camouflage waterproof shell jacket, an LED flashlight, gloves and hats from Sierra. They also sell hiking poles (some with a camera mount built in), binoculars, spotting scopes and camping gear, as well as backpacks, fleece jackets, hand warmer packs and other items you may need when working outdoors.
I first bought from them on a trip out west. I flew into Denver and drove north, through Rocky Mountain NP on on to Yellowstone and the Tetons. On the way I passed through Cheyenne, Wyoming and stopped at the Sierra Trading Post retail store. Since then I've bought dozens of items from them. They typically sell high quality gear at discount (closeout) prices - e.g. Columbia and North Face outdoor gear, Nikon (binoculars and spotting scopes), Steiner (binoculars) and Alos and Vasque hiking boots.
I don't add affiliates very often, despite getting requests on almost a weekly basis. In fact I was contacted by a fairly well known photo retailer this week and I declined to affiliate with them because I don't use them myself and they do not have a stellar reputation for customer service. I only add companies I trust and that I actually purchase from myself. I've been very happy with Sierra for many years, and I thought that others might find a good outdoor gear vendor to be useful.
