Konica-Minolta Maxxum digital lenses: AF DT 18-70mm f/3.5-5.6, AF DT 11-18mm f/4.5-5.6(D)and AF DT 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3(D)

Konica-Minolta have announced three new lenses to go along with the new Maxxum 5D DSLR. These lenses have reduced coverage for the APS-C sized sensor, so they are not compatible with full frame 35mm cameras but are designed to work with the current Maxxum 7D and the new Maxxum 5D.

Developed specifically to maximize the performance of the large (23.5mm x 15.7mm) CCDs used in DYNAX / MAXXUM digital SLR cameras*, these new DYNAX / MAXXUM AF DT series lenses offer outstanding edge-to-edge sharpness and clarity. Naturally, they work seamlessly with the DYNAX 5D / MAXXUM 5D's Anti-Shake system, and support Advanced Distance Integration (ADI) for enhanced flash metering performance.

* DYNAX / MAXXUM AF DT series lenses are not compatible with conventional 35mm SLR cameras.
